Let’s take a look at how we think the first set of polls will shake out.Historically, the first set of polls has come between the last week of July and the second week of August. The season officially starts on August 24 this year.Clemson, undoubtedly, will be the No. 1 team in the country when the polls are unveiled. Alabama will be No. 2 as well. After that, it’s up for debate. We think Georgia, Oklahoma and Ohio State will round out the top five. Many are predicting Michigan will finally win the Big Ten and knock off Ohio State in the process. It’ll be interesting to see if the pollsters agree in a few weeks.
