The Hunters finished off the last round before the finals with a 34-4 thrashing of the Sunshine Coast Falcons at home at the National Football Stadium yesterday afternoon.Michael Marum’s men have finished in fourth place for the finals and will meet the fifth placed Falcons again this Sunday in the elimination final at home.Kick-off for the game is at 3pm.The other elimination final will be between the Townsville Blackhawks (3rd place) and the Easts Tigers (6th place).The Redcliffe Dolphins took out the minor premiership for this season and will play the Burleigh Bears in week two of the finals to book the first spot in the grand final.Chairman of the PNG Rugby Football League, Sandis Tsaka congratulated Hunters coach Michael Marum and the team for the collective effort this season to make the finals again and also secure a final at home.He described the Hunters achievement as one of the success stories of rugby league this year.

Mark Korpu, the Chief Executive Office of Uprok Events will be held on March 14 at the famous Antoinette Tubman Stadium (ATS) featuring several A-list and emerging artists and will bring together top producers and record label scouts in search of new artists.“The festival is predicated upon the need to sow neatly and tightly the loose intra-cultural relationship in Liberia by using music as a potent weapon of intercultural understanding, and medium of appreciation for the country’s arts and culture,” says Korpu.He added: “This year’s festival, like any one of our past events, will leave fans mesmerized with a lot of an unforgettable triple-treat experience.”The Uprok CEO added that, being the first of its kind in Liberia, the festival is also aimed at promoting unity among the players in the Liberia music industry—something which has been lacking over the years.“We will also like to announce that certain percentage of the total revenue generated will go to a development project to aid the industry, and this will be an entertainment arena that will host not least than 8,000 people, “he said.The Uprok CEO added that this festival is in line with Pillar one of President George M. Former 2FM DJ Nikki Hayes has revealed that getting the boot from RTE helped her fall in love with her Donegal boyfriend.Nikki and FrankNikki revealed it was the need to make money after she was ditched by RTE which saw her end up working in Donegal.It was while in Letterkenny that Nikki met Frank Black, a soldier whom she has since become engaged to. Nikki revealed “The only reason I was up there in Letterkenny that night was a one-off. I needed the money, and that’s where we met.”Now Nikki says she thinks Frank is the man for her.“I’ve gone through so much crap with guys, I’ve met some rotten guys.“I know me and Frank have only been together for a year and a half but when it’s right, it’s right,” she aid.
