Pula Airport expects 600 thousand passengers

first_imgAfter record June, July and August, in which Pua Airport recorded three consecutive months with more than 100.000 passengers for the first time, as well as a record number of air operations, they continue with record arrivals in September.Namely, on September 12, 2018, Pula Airport expects 600 thousand passengers, who have not been at the Pula airport since the independence of Croatia, and at the beginning of August last year’s record of 500.000 passengers was achieved. This summer, Pula was connected by direct flights from 20 countries, with 76 destinations with direct flights, in cooperation with 42 companies. “We closed last year with 595.495 passengers, while this year we expect to cross 700.000 passengers and we immodestly hope to cross the number of passengers from 1987, the year when 701.370 passengers passed through our airport. So far, the total traffic from January to August has increased by 20% compared to last year, although our forecasts were an increase of 15% increase in the number of passengers. ” points out the director of Pula Airport, Svemir Radmilo. It is extremely important that flights with 17 companies to 22 destinations can still be realized until the end of September when the lines to: Belgrade, Zurich and London Heathrow are active, and by the end of October Pula Airport has open flights to another 20 destinations. , and these are still London, Oslo, Nantes, Frankfurt, Dublin, Rotterdam, Edinburgh, Moscow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Warsaw, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Berlin, Brussels, Hamburg, Stuttgart, Bristol and Helsinki, Liverpool.”It should be pointed out again that the reason for such figures lies in the fact of synergistic action of all stakeholders in tourism in Istria. There is primarily the Istria County Tourist Board, then the hotel industry with its investments in new hotel facilities, as well as the art of negotiating and introducing all carriers to the beauties of Istria and opportunities for a beautiful and attractive vacation provided by all destinations within the airport. Our job is to bring Europe closer to Istria, but also to show Istria to Europe, because we have something to show and something to be proud of. ” Radmilo concluded.last_img read more

It’s a free fitness app that offers custom workout routines. The big differentiating factor between Sworkit and other fitness apps is “it’s highly customizable,” says Nexercise co-founder Coleman. “Not a lot has changed [with fitness] in the last 30 years. There’s lots of good content, but everything is static. I can’t do P9ox every day because I don’t do the same things every day. With Sworkit, I can get a great workout anytime, anywhere.”The app will tailor workouts based on what you are currently doing, for example, if you are traveling, in a hotel, in the office…etc. Workouts are customized based on the user’s likes.Sworkit is being well-received. A recent University of Florida fitness research study recently scored Sworkit its highest score when compared to other fitness apps on the market. The co-founders have combined experiences in software development and military training. Young spent years as a software developer; while Coleman’s background is in the military as an Air Force pilot. The two met while attending Wharton business school, pursuing their MBAs.In an interview with Black Enterprise, Coleman explained the motivation for appearing on Shark Tank.“[We’re not] in Silicon Valley, we are D.C.-based,” he said. “We look like a Silicon Valley company. Over the years, we always looked for other ways to kind of go out and figure out a unique path to success. We don’t necessarily fit the patterns. We are a little older–both in our early 40s; two African American guys, and we are on the East Coast. We have kind of an outsider sort of angle.”Nexercise was the first black-founded company to go through the Techstars’ accelerator program. Winning on Shark Tank would allow the company to “grow faster,” says Coleman. “[With] consumer-facing digital properties, speed is one of your most important things.” A win would also mean more capital to spend on marketing, according to Coleman.About the experience of appearing on Shark Tank, Coleman said, “It was awesome. When you first get into the process you don’t get your hopes up high. Then we made it to the next round.” He said the experience was also “surreal” since both he and Young have been fans of the show since it first aired. The Shark Tank episode featuring Sworkit will appear Friday, Feb. 19 at 9 PM ET, on ABC.
